Up until 1998, every SLR I had ever used had a split image focusing screen. Then, I got a Pentax 67. At first I was disoriented with the 67, and was concerned about being able to focus. For a time I considered buying a different screen for it.
Then I stopped thinking about it, and just USED the camera, and I found that it was not an issue at all, and now I am so used to it that I don't think I actually pay attention to the split image in my 35mm bodies any more. -Aaron - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
