September 1 I leave for two weeks in Italy. A couple days in Rome, three days for a wedding in Puglia, six days on a bike in the Salento region, a day in Lecce, back to Rome for a night and return flight the next day.
I was originally planning to take my K-5 and just the 16-45/4, but I want to travel light and I’m thinking of a couple other options—relying on my phone and purchasing a Pentax/Ricoh WG 30 waterproof camera, which I’d like to have for paddling anyway. Wondering what y’all think of that camera. The reviews I’ve read have not been especially complimentary, especially regarding image quality, but I gather that at least a few people here have it.
