That's exactly what I thought while looking at the image.
That gradient, combined with the milky OOF backgruond creates a very nice
separation.
On many occasions I've been trying to achieve this, and has never been
able to get anywhere close to this level.
Also, I like the use of the light, where the leaves (and flowers) look
somewhat translucent -- all without _blowing_ out the highlights on the
flowers.
