Hello List! I'm shooting with a new K-50 that I've had for about 9 months now. The issue I'm having has been happening since I got the camera (and I've been dragging my feet trying to figure it out).
I don't know if my problem is with the camera or with the memory card (I'll swap cards out when I get home and start testing). My issue: The camera is taking photos and everything looks good if I review the pictures via the camera and screen. Thumbnails on a computer also look good. I shoot in DNG almost exclusively. I copy the files to my computer via Photoshop Downloader and work with them via Elements 12. Every now and then (there is no rhyme or reason that I can figure out), a picture doesn't seem to be properly 'finished'. Here is a link to one of the DNG files (https://www.dropbox.com/s/clp2ed62ky4m5ez/IMGP1213.DNG?dl=0) Here is a link to a JPG of Windows screen shot of the file opened in Windows Photo Viewer (https://www.dropbox.com/s/4nrz2svaz79k96y/IMGP1213_Opened.JPG?dl=0) The JPG is what I see when I open the file in CameraRAW for Photoshop. This particular file was copied to an iMac using the Photoshop downloader as well as a copy/paste to a Windows PC. Same results. Prior to this last group of shots, I re-formatted the card in camera. Any thoughts? Card / Camera / End User?? Thanks!
