My friend Nicole is driving in the runoffs in Daytona Beach in a couple
of weeks. She has enough miles to bring me along on a free travel
companion ticket. For some reason, going to Florida at the peak of
Huricane season seems like a good idea.
Since she has a professional crew taking care of her car, and only has
one 20 minute practice session on most of the days she'll be running, we
should have a lot of free time. It looks like we'll be about an hour
north east of Orlando and an hour north of Cape Canaveral.
Any suggestions on what to see in that area? Are any PDMLers in the
vicinity?
