Hi, just received vol.1 no. 1 of the new quarterly photojournalism magazine called 'ei8ht'. It's pretty good. There are 9 photo essays in it, covering a personal perspective on NY Sept. 11, some photos from a Soviet soldier who served in Afghanistan, a story about the re-Latinising of LA, Haiti, Malawi, clandestine immigration in Europe, and a hat factory in Germany.

Also just learned that there is to be a screening (date & venue tbd) later this summer in London of 'War Photographer', the Oscar-nominated documentary about James Nachtwey that I mentioned a few days ago.
