A lot of lenses seem to be out of the US lineup, if you visit the
ricohimaging.com site. Of course that site is still under construction,
and has been for at least three weeks, probably longer. I don't know
what Ricoh is doing, but they don't seem to care much for the second or
maybe third largest market for cameras in the world. The only way the
US is third by the way is to consolidate all of Europe as one market
which despite the EU it really isn't, at least for cameras.

Also Zeiss rep told me this summer, and most may know this, that there will
be no more Pentax lenses.
What's out there is all there will be. So if you like 'em you'll have to get
a used one or some NOS from a dealer.
