On every other Pentax DSLR I've had, when I power up the camera, it will
for a couple of seconds display a screen with the basic status,
including the time. When I'm shooting, cycling the camera power is
often my primary way of checking the time.
My new to me K-3 is currently set up so that when it powers up, the
display stays black. Is there a way to configure it so that the status
will briefly show up, then stay black until it is previewing a photo,
the way my K-5 would?
