Larry, If you hit the INFO button after start-up you should see the screen with the time at the bottom. I don't know a way to set it to show the INFO screen on start-up (at least looking through the menus on the K-3 II, which should be similar). Maybe that was possible on earlier models (or default behavior?) Not sure.
