As I mentioned, I prefer the Vivitar to the Pentax SMC 28/2K. Sharp at f/2.8, and saturated even when I use portrait films like Kodak Portra or Fuji NPZ. "Not sure if it was ever available in K mount." It was made for about two years in PK mount. I have one, which I bought for $169 in 1998.
