it's cute but it looks pretty niche — electric bikes are becoming much more popular, and this is perhaps one branch of that movement; however it provides only the illusion of safety while reducing maneuverability; and it looks too wide to fit in a bikeway, so it will often be out in car traffic drawing the ire of drivers
