Romney is certainly among the top 1% of Americans in personal wealth, but he 
has a history of charitable works and support of the downtrodden. To say he is 
“for the 1%” denies his history. As an equity fund partner he was involved in 
some takeovers and mergers that provided mud-slinging opportunities for the 
Obama campaign, but Romney's personal life has been exemplary and he 
contributes vast sums to a wide range of charities. Most importantly, he 
doesn’t suffer the ego problems and pettiness that have plagued Obama and 
probably would have made a good president. His record of success speaks for 
itself.
