If you want him, he will become available soon,

Just think, you guys could have elected Romney and had a government
unabashedly by the 1% for the 1%.

Romney is certainly among the top 1% of Americans in personal wealth,
but he has a history of charitable works and support of the
downtrodden. To say he is “for the 1%” denies his history. As an
equity fund partner he was involved in some takeovers and mergers
that provided mud-slinging opportunities for the Obama campaign, but
Romney's personal life has been exemplary and he contributes vast
sums to a wide range of charities. Most importantly, he doesn’t
suffer the ego problems and pettiness that have plagued Obama and
probably would have made a good president. His record of success
speaks for itself.

His 47% comment put me off. Politics is a blood sport, but once a person is elected, they have to drop that partisanship and be everyone's leader. The other side of that is we have to accept that in a democracy, we don't always get our way, and when a person is elected, they need to be accepted as leader to be able to do their jobs. In this, conservatives have failed miserably, and your country has paid the price.

I think Obama has tried to do that better than Romney would have, Romney pretty much said he wouldn't bother, but this isn't to say Obama has tried all that hard, and he certainly hasn't been successful at it. With all the go back to Kenya and the put the White back into the White House memes along with the nigger baiting that the far right has done, I'm not sure trying harder would have done him any good.
