Optically it's a kit zoom, for that it's not bad, the issue I see is
that it's focus by wire, not a good thing for an SLR, not so bad on a
EVEL since to see through the VF the camera has to be powered anyway.
But Ricoh doesn't make the K-01 anymore, or a successor so that's moot.
It looks like it might make a good street shooters lens, except that you
really need a decent focusing scale to pre-focus which it lacks.
If it comes on your camera as part of a kit, I wouldn't mind getting
one, at Kit prices it's probably going to add not much more to the price
than buying an old school body cap, (damn but those have become
expensive), but I can't see going out of my way to buy one.
I see by the first review that the weather sealing was a problem, with
such a small sample, (two reviews), it's impossible to tell, if that's a
design flaw, or a manufacturing defect.

Walmart is trying to be Amazon, including being a marketplace platform. Some
of the 3rd-party sellers that are selling Pentax photo items seem to have
