As it happens that was taken in the resort we stayed at. That was about the only sunny weather we had all week - the rest of the time was mostly cloudy and the wind varied from fairly strong to very strong. Didn't stop us from getting in lots of snorkelling. Wish I'd had an underwater camera. Swimming among coral with curious tropical fish is one of life's great experiences.
I'll post more in coming days / weeks as I sort through and process but I have a lot to catch up on. We also bought a new fridge today which means I have until next Tuesday to modify the kitchen to fit it. BTW the real ads for the Cook Islands look _much_ better. If we'd had the right weather I might not have come back. We were lucky enough to fly over on an Air NZ 777 with the "sky couch" seats, aka "cuddle class". The 3rd seat in our row was empty so we were able to get a bit more comfortable.
