I've had two repaired by Pentax Colorado in the past year. Replaced the guts
for about $90, if I remember correctly. Of course, someone's used one could
be had for less. But like your old car, once you learn it, you hate to give
it up. Jess' keep fixin' it!
But you go on, and I agree with you. For a PZ, the 500 is a sleek little
number, almost as good as the N***n series. Having two or three opens up
even more possibilities for portable highly controllable lighting.
