I was kind of joking about the "ethically raised" part. It was intentionally 
absurd, referring to an earlier thread that morphed into a discussion about 
veganism.

I don't know that fruits and vegetables can be ethically raised. They can be 
organic, pesticide - free, non-gmo, whatever. But since they don't feel pain I 
don't think they "care" how they're raised. They just "want" to be eaten.

One can buy meat that is ethically raised, and I won't comment on my feelings 
and opinions on that issue.
