Never occured to me to glue it down though <g> If you want to try this, though, be ~very~ careful - use only a ~tiny~ drop of super glue, and, after applying the drop, hold the button down while you keep turning the mode dial back and forth - you don't want any excess glue freezing the mode dial in place - <g>. I've done this previously to two different ME Supers, and I'm actually about to do it again with an ME Super SE (enlisted for use where ~quiet~ is needed - the LX's, as much as I love 'em, for some occasions are just too darn LOUD - <g>).
