Hi, With the recent discussion on film, I was wondering what you all would suggest for the following, which is my primary photography subject- cars.
What would be an excellent print film to photograph cars, both static and on the track, daytime, although some cars may be under a tent or in a garage trackside. I need something that can be used for both purposes, as I plan to keep two bodies loaded, one w/ a telephoto for the action stuff, one with a wide angle for the static shots. I'm thinking Fuji Superia X-tra 400, as that is what I used at Porsche Rennsport Reunion with fairly good results and even better at the Lime Rock Vintage Festival. With my recent camera acquisitions, I will be using a SP1000 w/ 24mm f3.5 for the static shots or a SuperProgram w/ 28mm f2.8, and a SuperProgram w/ 70-210mm f4 for action shots, I might add a tripod and I might add a Rear Converter A 2-XS.
