The headlines overblew the storm by making it sound like the entire eastern third of the country was going to get socked, but this is still a most impressive storm system. the NAM weather model is predicting a very wide area over West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey to get over 24". And a widening area in south central Pennsylvania is looking at over 40" snow depth. There is even a small spot of white there (44-48") and THAT is as high as the color key goes.
