Adobe will open and process the DNG file using the file's internal camera calibration, no matter how bad it might be, where DXO (amongst others) wants to be sure they produce good results and won't process files they haven't qualified a calibration for.
It's a matter of corporate philosophy. For Adobe as the DNG creator and custodian, it would bad if their publicly spec'ced format wasn't able to be processed. G > On Feb 17, 2016, at 5:44 PM, P.J.
