It's just got center-weighted metering, right? The n has spot and
matrix, and I would suppose the TTL flash is much imoroved as well,
assuming the 645 TTL is of the Super Program/LX variety and the 645n
is of the ZX-5n variety.

The nII has compensation in 1/3 stops. The n uses 1/2 stops.

I had the exact same experience. I mostly turn it off as I'm on a
sloppy-border B+W kick.

Some of the FA lenses are optically improved. Of course they can be
used on the 645 so that isn't really an issue as to which body to get.
