We've actually had a bit of weather here in central California recently. A month or two ago a log came down across the river in my backyard, making me a bit nervous, but it turns out not to be a hazard after all.

I just tried getting some photos of it from a few different angles, and various exposure settings. Apart from learning that I really am not Mark Roberts, particularly in terms of photographing streams, I did learn that I do really need to underexpose a lot more than expected to not lose detail in the foam.

The K-3 shots were on a tripod and with the 77 and the 31. Comments, Critique and suggestions on improving sharpness appreciated.
