Wasn't accidental, Ann. 
I didn't mean to indicate that I was disappointed that the bird had a leg band.
That was simply to support my comments that the Canary appeared to be an 
escapee.

Gang -
Jack says that what I'm pointing to with an arrow on the closeup of his 
canary is a leg band...
I have put it next to a closeup of my yellow bird to compare front three 
"toes" -  I kinda see
why the "finger" I'm pointint to with the arrow in his could bee seen as 
a band, but as it
is grasping the branch I can't see how it is possible...

What do you see?   This all started because Jack mentioned being 
disappointed that his bird had a leg band
and since I couldn't see one I was aiming to reassure...
