Great to hear about the care taken with the environment... not finding much to love about those

The people of Maui are paranoid about keeping the ocean and the
beaches as clean as possible.  One almost never sees trash on the
beach or in the water.  Plastic grocery bags have been illegal for
several years now, because the are easily caught by the wind and blown
into the shrubs and trees.  Now that the last sugar plantation has
closed, Maui's economy -- and life style -- is dependent on its
natural beauty and those lovely visitors from Alaska who spend the
winter just offshore.
That's encouraging.
