Don, At first I said "nooo Don don't do it.." then I thought it would
work nice in BW also... making it sort of film noirish.
You know one thing about Rick's photo is what a good photography lesson
it is...
It doesn't matter how humble or interesting in it self a subject is, if
the way it is lit (naturally or planned) and the
elements are arranged in an interesting fashion_it works_.
Someone - I forgot who, used to give his students an assignment of
photographing door knobs(back in the film days - think the70'sin this case)
LIkewise, a subject that is inherently interesting in itself , if it is
not photographed with good light and interesting"geometry"
is likely to be boring.
