My first wife was from Florida, along the coast between North Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale, and I spent quite a bit of time there summers and vacations before and during our marriage. That would not be a region I would ever want to live. Heat, humidity… Maybe the gulf coast is better in that regard. I think in most regards Asheville would be way up on my list if I were looking to move. But I am quite pleased with our current circumstance in mid-Michigan and don’t anticipate ever moving again. Unless we are flooded out.
