I might be missing the point here, but the camera seems reminiscent of a T90, whilst the lens resembles a Nikkor 600mm - the gold band at the front, the wide focus ring, but the tripod mount looks wrong. Maybe it's one of those Sigma 1000mm lenses. Natch Canon actually made EOS big glass in black for the Japanese military.
