Excellent photo, Paul! I'm looking forward to seeing more!

I bought an adjustable (1-8 stop) Tiffin ND filter about a year ago.
It turns out that the waves on the New Hampshire lake we visited
aren't large enough, and the usable range of the filter isn't wide
enough to create that blur effect. The filter is allegedly 8 stops,
but past 4 or 5 an annoying checkerboard pattern appears, especially
with wide lenses.
