Not always. If I'm doing a particularly short exposure with a short
lens, and focal length * seconds is well below 600, there isn't a lot of
blur. And those are exactly the situations where I want to be able to
tell which is which when I'm analyzing the differences between
astrotracer and not.
Use a notebook to keep track of file numbers in the field, and then
keyword them on import.
