One can use an app for notes on the phone or tablet.

I haven't shot Bulb for ages. How does LR show exposure for that? just the "real" time?

You can filter based on Text, entering the exposure that you have.
E.g. I just tried to enter 1/100, and it picked up everything that is 1/100 and 1/1000. (In the library module, matrix view, at the top, the panel right above the photos)

I wonder if it would be worth going back to methods from film days & just carry a little notebook and writing the information down while you are taking your photos?
