I bought a Dell P2715Q monitor to use as a second monitor with malate 2015 iMac 27 Retina 5K. It’s a 4K monitor with great reviews. But I can’t get it to light up. I’ve tried running it off a mini display port to mini display port (thunderbolt) cable. No good. I’ve tried the mini display port to display port cable that comes with the monitor. No good. There has to be a way to do this. Others are using the same monitor. Dell tech support is clueless. Anyone here have a suggestion? I suppose the monitor could be defective, but that seems unlikely.
