Thank you everyone for your info and opinions. I'm quickly narrowing
down the possible choices, somewhat limited by what's actually carried
locally here.

My plan so far is to get a head -- likely the Acratech -- first, and
use it with my existing legs which are supposed to support 15 pounds.
(Though that's probably overly optimistic, as Godfrey suggests.)
