An excellent Geso, Paul. I don't really know the intricasies of the game -
all Rugby Union in our part of the world - but the kids seem to be playing
with great intent. My fav. is 8569 - the equivalent of a break around the
side of the scrum.

I love shooting kid’s sports. Nowhere is there more passion and action.
These kids are just 10 to 12 years old, but they’re fit, strong and
motivated. They’re also well schooled in the intricacies of the game. I don’t
like the physical danger part of it, but the rest of it is great. I guess it’s
a tradeoff, although I wouldn’t mind seeing them play flag football. In any
case, a number of these kids are the children of my neighbors, and I really
like shooting football. The players are nowhere near as fast as those toy
cars I shot a couple of weeks ago, but this still requires some discipline.
The K-1 is a much better sports camera than I would have thought from
reading the reviews. I had very few misses out of a couple hundred shots.
The key is continuous autofocus, single point and a 9-point field. Piece of
cake.
