Not even in New Mexico would they name their prized new commuter rail
system after that loser !

Actually, although I have heard it called "the Road Runner train,"  it is
officially the New Mexico Rail Runner Express, or NMRX.  The line opened
only 10 years ago, and service to Santa Fe (from Albuquerque) began in
2008.  There are nine engines, and the one shown is NMRX 101.  There are 11
scheduled daily runs in each direction.

  It apparently operates at a substantial deficit.
