So On1 offers Perfect effects 9.x for free. Except after a while it
offers minor rev. update, which they don't tell you will invalidate your
free license as the free version is now the free trial version... But
it's even better because of course the free trial period started on the
day you installed the "free" version so it's no longer free, and your
trial period has expired.
Do they not see that doing crap like that will just lose them good
will. I can't imagine buying a product from them now.
On1 has every right to run their business any way they want, I have
every right to not patronize them. That's just idiocy.
