There's a big camera show in Japan in late February, CP+. I think that's
where they officially announced the K-1 in 2016.

The K-1 has only been available since May 2016 IIRC, and considering
just how big a hit Ricoh has on their hands, I don't think they're going
to want to replace it in less than one year.

I wouldn't look for any new Pentax "Flagship" body before CP+ 2018, and
maybe not until Photokina.

Caveat: This is just what I think, so take it for whatever it's wort.
I've been wrong more times than I've been right.
