Peter, I am happy to report that I've downloaded, installed, registered and upgraded my LR 6.x to the latest 6.8 version. With some very minor hitches it appears to run properly.
So far I can report that it does some things differently (such as creating a zipped, rather than plain version, catalog backup) and it works a good deal faster with the Oly EM-1 files. That is, it really uses the cache insofar that sometimes the zoom to 1:1 size is instantaneous indeed - LR 5.7 was a good deal slower in this regard. More LR time coming my way as I need to get at least basic understanding of what new features it has compared to LR 5.7. Many thanks! Boris On Tue, Jan 31, 2017 at 9:35 PM, P. J.
