My 28-105 powerzoomer is so good optically I can't bring myself to sell it in spite of owning the 24-90 and the F 24-50. How many zooms can one man own and not be called a mere collector? It's also built better than the 28-80 PZ, which does lose its button clip. The 24-90 seems to take pictures that have a little more sparkle, however. I'm going to do a serious side-by-side test of these 3 zooms and my primes in the same range, and hope to ask the DC area PDML'ers to join me to add some lenses to the lineup.
The lithium AA advantage is that it lightens the flash considerably. They are really featherweight compared to the alkalines. On-camera flash is less cumbersome. The MZ-s battery grip is lighter as well with the lithiums, and it has a switch to flip to match the battery type. Don't forget to do that! - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
