I really like the first image (232)! The sharp and colorful bug, against the blurred white foreground and background, is very effective. In the other shot the bug is too small, IMHO.
My primitive understanding of the SR system is that it wants to know the focal length of the lens, Somewhere in the menus one can enter it, if it is a lens without a chip that handles the job automagically.
