Instead of being your conventional Hockey or Baseball theme, their son wanted an artistic theme. So we dressed him up with a white tunic and a black beret. Gave him a brush and a paint pallette. After choosing the best shot from the proofs, we had a 16x20 made, and matted to a larger ( I believe 24x30) mat. At that point my wife and I knew what gift we were getting for the Bar-Mitzva boy. After the reception we took the portrait to a frame shop, and had it nicely framed. I feel proud every time I go to their den and look at that portrait.
