I rented a house in western TN via VRBO two and a half years ago. The owner was perplexed by the inquiry and the incredibly long lead time to rent. Its very close to the max duration point and has space for a lot of people. Right now, very few of my family members have replied as to whether they will come or not.
Interestingly enough, there will be another eclipse just a few years from now that will pass in totality within about 20 miles from my house.
