In the MZ-S manual it states that the camera is not suitable for IR film. It has been tried by people on here and they have found that the film (surprise, surprise) gets fogged. I believe Aaron saw this on somebody's film recently. It would seem that the data imprinting is not the only culprit, but that the camera uses IR to keep track of film / frame positioning as well.
