        EIR is a very different film than HIE b&w Infrared. HIE is
        very susceptible to stray light of any sort, especially the
        IR frame-counters in newer cameras, due to  its lack of the
        anti-halation layer in the film base.

        If Infrared is to become an interest, one is well served to
        just obtain an older mechanical body to dedicate to use w/
        HIE Infrared film.  ... just my experience & humblest opinion.
