Larry,
You probably have a very good camera! ;-)
Several of them, but I only brought two on the trip.
Jokes aside, - this is a great set!
Thanks a bunch.
(It even forced me to take a couple of minutes from my current "crunch
time" to comment on your photos.)
Either that part of Oregon is so "photogenic", or you were very inspired,
but there are many very good photos in this set.
It is very photogenic. With lots of clouds, as long as things aren't
totally socked in, you get some nice sunsets. There are lots of birds of
all sorts. Of course, it was on the drive home, when I got to I-5 and
couldn't pull over to photograph that I was seeing hawks and the sorts
about every five miles.
Here are those that I enjoyed the most:
Both bridges, the "blue" bird over the water (with its reflection), boy
I think you mean the heron I was photographing in Waldport. I was lining
up to get a great shot of it sleeping and my focus motor woke it up and
it flew away.
& dog, two night photos, two lizards (1 photo),
It turns out that one of the waitresses at a nice bar/restaurant in town
breeds reptiles, so I talked her into letting me photograph some. Next
trip I'll photograph the pythons.
reflective lake with
clouds, surrounded by pine(?) trees; three colorful sunsets (3
sequential photos); a dark, almost silhouette, bird.
It's a cormorant. I had a bunch of photos of them seriously back lit so
rather than fighting it I went all kodalith on their butts.
Cheers, crawling back into the shell. ;-)
Thanks. Good luck with the crunch.

I've been back from Oregon for a couple of days. When I wasn't in the
process of moving Mom's stuff into her new smaller place in the assisted
living center in Yachats, I did manage to find some time to play with my
camera.
She does seem to be doing better, both physically and mentally, though
not quite back to her previous levels of spryness.
Here's a bunch of my better shots over the past three trips since the
start of February, several are repeats. It's a bit large, but on the
other hand, there's a whole bunch of intermediate posts I didn't make in
the past two weeks:
