Very good Dan - and through a canopy too? They used to make canopies for Hawker Hunters, Harriers and Hawks in the aircraft factory where I did my apprenticeship. Very specialised and I remember seeing a bloody great sheet of hot Perspex being draped over a greasy wooden mould. It was then subject to a lot of polishing to make it optically perfect and to remove any distortion - after all, the pilot ideally would want to see the target / runway in the right place.. It took many hours.
