I received this as a personal reply from Ann, with two "To:" headers
Pentax-Discuss Mail List <[email protected]>
Me <[email protected]>

I have not yet seen it come up on the PDML list.

I'm sending this reply as "Reply All" which gives me
To: ann sanfedele <[email protected]>
To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List <[email protected]>

We'll see where it shows up.

(The "XXX" is so email addresses can't be harvested from the PDML
archive if this gets through there.)

On list emails I have the choice of "Reply List", "Reply All" & "Reply".
My default is set to "Reply" which so far does seem to make it show up
on the PDML (unless I hit an Earthlink server that's being blacklisted
by SpamEatingMonkey).

ok this is "reply all" let's try that..
the first mail i sent using "reply list" never showed up in my folder -
but my reply to list answering Larry did.

I haven't gotten private mail that was essentially lsit based except
from Jack - who really was writing me off list I think

So either Thunderbird has fixed or maybe broken something or the list
software is configured differently. I've sent a number of replies
lately
that seem to have been sent directly to the originating persons email
rather than to the list. I haven't changed what I've been doing but now
I have to remember to click reply list. I really hate when crap like
that happens.

It's so much more fun when what you think is a private reply to one
person goes out to the whole list.

That's not what seems to be happening though. Instead, a reply to the
whole list is turning in to a private reply.

I've gotten a few of them on the "Maybe getting a new laptop" thread.
