I had the A* 300 f4 and it was a little disappointing in terms of
sharpness. It was a very good lens but not outstanding, whereas other A*
lenses I have owned were truly excellent (A*200 f4, A*200 f2.8 and A*
400 f2.8). The 300 f4 also did not focus very closely. I can't comment
on the other lens.
