I made the test with a Spotmatic years ago. I can't remember if it was
the SP or the SPII. I set the aperture and used the shutter speed dial to
centre the meter. I tried it over the upper speed range and then read the
negatives (a white wall was the target). All the negatives were remarkably
close.
