I’m, very slowly, learning about scanning b&w images using Epson Scan. A couple of out-of-the-box puzzles:
(1) With two strips of film in the holder I only get one set of images in the scan. (2) With one image selected, all the adjustment options—auto exposure, histogram, tone, image, color palette, unsharp mask, grain reduction, color restoration, backlight correction, dust removal, digital ice—are turned off. With the images I’ve got I’d definitely like to play around with the histogram a bit. Why are adjustments turned off?
